Telling the story of a drag queen in San Francisco.
I always wanted to make a documentary. The difficult part was finding a story worth telling. While living in San Francisco, one of the most important cities in the history of the LGBT rights movement, I became fascinated by the double life of drag queens. At a bar called Aunt Charlie's Lounge, I met Sophilya Legzz, school teacher by day and drag queen by night. Both me and my partner felt that her story was so good that we wanted to share it with the world. We ended up signing a contract with OutTv so it was broadcasted on TV and online.
